SEARCHNG FOR GOD IN CHRISTIANITY
BOOK SEARCHING FOR GOD
IN CHRISTIANITY
We stand face-to-face with the same impenetrable wall of unbelief that our forefathers gazed at and ask: is it possible for our culture to be awakened to the truth we know, to Jesus?
This book is for those who are genuinely asking, “why doesn’t the Christian life work”? – “Why is the Church so fragile in our time”?
Christians cannot give what they do not possess. If we do not have in our personal possession power and peace, we cannot give them. We may be socially influential, brilliant communicators and efficient organizers, but if we do not possess all that Christ wants us to give, we will be frustrated with failure.
Countless Christian leaders have come to this place of perplexing powerlessness, simply and honestly asking, “why doesn’t the Christian life work”? Every one of them finding a radical willingness that saw them discard all in exchange for a maximum experience of Jesus Christ.
By translating theology into English, this book takes the believer on the journey of possessing all of Christ, so that they can give men to God and God to men.”

Using key theologians from the last 2000 years this book presents the truth that just like you and I are composed of flesh and blood, God is literally composed of love. God’s nature of love is revealed in the name Jesus Christ and this revelation of God is the message, mandate and mission of the Church. This finding is the foundation of the book.
The book looks at some key areas of reform in our understanding of Christ and His Gospel. Some examples are:
· Repentance, in light of Jesus original command in the Greek.
· The relationship between Jesus’ nature and our redemption.
· The eternal task of the Church.
