Sean and Jenna
Sean and Jenna believe that Church should be enjoyed and not endured. They believe in building a church community that is dedicated to helping people become happy and whole through Jesus Christ.
Before they started the Hope Society Church, Sean worked as a national manager in the fashion industry. Sean has had a variety of ministry experiences, pastoring for around 10 years. Sean regularly speaks at conferences and events, is a published author.
Jenna comes from a medical family and was born and raised in the Sutherland Shire, after university Jenna worked in medical research for eight years and currently works full-time in the research industry.
Sean has been a carer for over two decades, caring for both his parents who have suffered from chronic illness, Jenna has had similar experiences with members of her extended family. Sean and Jenna feel that outside of their respective educational and social experiences, that this time as carers has been the most formative aspect of their lives.
They believe that belonging to a fun and healthy church community enriches every part of life. Sean and Jenna have been married for two years and look forward to starting a family in the near future.
Sean holds a Masters Degree in Theology from the Sydney College of Divinity.
Jeanette is a key part of the leadership team at the Hope Society. Jeanette oversees the leadership development of our team leaders and helps guide and build the various ministry teams that make up the Hope Society Church.
Jeanette is on the preaching team and is our platform team leader. Jeanette also runs our women’s ministry, which inturn operates a yearly women’s conference designed to champion women in life and ministry.
Jeanette is the founder and Managing Director of Inspiring Hope, which is the humanitarian and evangelistic arm of the Hope Society Church. Inspiring Hope has a camping ministry to the 42,000 children in rotational foster care in NSW; which operates in partnership with Camp Toukley. Inspiring Hope is also active in Africa, Indonesia and partners with The Australian Leadership Foundation to run the V.I.T.A.L schools program.
Jeanette has a passion for people to be the best they can be and lives to ‘inspire the hope of Jesus to a hurting world’. Jeanette holds an Advanced Diploma in Christian Counselling, and is in the final stages of a Bachelors Degree in Ministry.
